Everything about this show from the stories to the way it's put together with flashbacks or flashes of the younger person is very well done and the season premiere did not disappoint. It's been awhile since it's taken me so long to figure out who did it for sure. It's characters balance each other very well. None of them are made to always be the bad cop and even when they are the bad cop in an episode they still have moments in that episode where they are good and you see why it is that a case affects them so much.
I really like the addition of this new female detective Josie Sutton (Sarah Brown). The only problem with the show has been to much male perspective on cases it will be nice to have a second female perspective on cases. It will also be fun to see what happens when Lilly and Josie have different perspectives on the same case rather than the standard female vs. male opposing perspectives all the time.
